My qualification history could be summarised as a solid foundation in Java, with Cloud and DevOps technologies added in recent years.
2023 - Hashicorp Terraform Associate (003)
Earners of the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification know the basic concepts, skills, and use cases associated with open source HashiCorp Terraform. They understand and can utilize Terraform according to the certification objectives. Additionally, they understand why enterprises choose to extend Terraform Open Source with Terraform Enterprise to solve business critical objectives.
2023 - Certified Jenkins Engineer
The Jenkins Engineers are functional specialists who understand continuous delivery/DevOps best practices and are able to leverage Jenkins features to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery.
2023 - AWS Solutions Architect (SAA-C03)
Re-certified - Earners of this certification have a comprehensive understanding of AWS services and technologies. They demonstrated the ability to build secure and robust solutions using architectural design principles based on customer requirements. Badge owners are able to strategically design well-architected distributed systems that are scalable, resilient, efficient, and fault-tolerant.
2023 - Docker Certified Associate
The DCA serves as a foundational benchmark for real world Docker skills across the container industry.
2023 - AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01)
Re-certified. Earners of this certification have a fundamental understanding of IT services and their uses in the AWS Cloud. They demonstrated cloud fluency and foundational AWS knowledge. Badge owners are able to identify essential AWS services necessary to set up AWS-focused projects.

This retired certification tested knowledge across the Core Spring product at version 3.0.
2010 - PRINCE2 Foundation
PRINCE2® (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a process-based method for effective project management. PRINCE2 is a de facto standard used by the UK Government, widely recognised and practised in the private sector in the UK and internationally.
2009 - Sun Certified Developer for the Java 2 Platform (SCJD)
The SCJD required me to develop a small business system according to a specified problem and write an essay defending the solution and explaining the design and programming decisions.
2009 - Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform, SE 6 (SCJP)
This exam certified a solid knowledge of the Java language for SE6.
2008 - Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services (SCDJWS)
This certification is for Java developers who build Web services. SCJP is a prerequisite.
2006 - Sun Enterprise Architect for Java Platform EE (SCEA)
This is what the Sun certification program is all about. This certifies enterprise architects responsible for architecting and designing J2EE-compliant applications from scratch. There are no prerequisite requirements even though it is the most advanced certification. To achieve this certification, I had to complete three steps: a multiple choice exam, a development assignment similar to SCJD (but on a much larger scale), and a final essay exam where I defended my solution.
2005 - Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the Java Platform EE1.4
This exam was of interest for Web developers who specialize in using Java technologies such as Java Server Pages (JSP) and servlets. SCJP is a prerequisite for taking this exam.
2004 - Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform 1.4 (SCJP)
This exam certified a solid knowledge of the Java language for 1.4.
